Founded in 1932 by Professor Charles J. Schwarz, Missouri Tech has always been at the cutting edge of technology training in St. Louis for 70 years. Starting in the 30's with the 'new' field of radio, progressing through television and now computer and internet technologies, Missouri Tech is known for training the leaders in technology needed to keep companies in St. Louis competitive.

Leadership at Missouri Tech took a dramatic step forward in 1987 with the arrival of Paul Dodge as President, bringing over twenty years of industry experience, supervising and training employees in computer science and bringing a passionate belief in the value of practical experience to a theoretical education. Missouri Tech has always benefited from an outstanding faculty and today is no different. Currently the faculty is made up of leading educators in their fields who strongly support Paul Dodge's vision for the school and it's motto, When you succeed, we do too
