Class Size
Class sizes vary depending on the subject. The average student-to-teacher ratio is approximately 17 to one. Many advanced classes have fewer than 17 students.
Four-Day College
Chaparral College offers a unique approach to learning--the four-day school week with classes meeting Monday through Thursday. Flexible classes provide you with an opportunity for course concentration and continuity. Three-day weekends afford you more time for personal and academic pursuits.
Day and evening classes are conducted, making the most of the curriculum available to meet students' scheduling needs. Both day and evening classes are fully staffed with qualified faculty and staff to make your learning experience rewarding and valuable.
Facilities
Chaparral Collegeoccupies a modern facility with approximately 22,600 square feet at 4585 East Speedway, Suite 204. Modern air-conditioned classrooms provide an excellent environment for study. A student Ramada area and a student lounge are available along with ample parking.
The College is equipped with many computer labs housing over 200 computers. High-speed access to the Internet and other online resources are available for students and faculty. Overhead projectors, TV/VCR's/DVD's, a video camera, and computers with PowerPoint Applications are also available.
