California College for Health Sciences is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). The Commission is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency and is a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
California College for Health Sciences' respiratory care programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). California College for Health Sciences' respiratory care programs have been placed on Probationary Accreditation as of January 14, 2000. CAAHEP is a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
