The Academy of Medical Arts and Business was established in 1980. It is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the State Board of Private Licensed Schools and is approved for Veteran's training. The Academy is also a member of the Career College Association and the Pennsylvania Association of Two-Year Colleges.
The Secretary of Education of The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has approved The Academy to award the Associate Degree in Specialized Business Degree and the Associate in Specialized Technology Degree. It is also a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals, The National Paralegal Association, The Pennsylvania School of Counselors Association and the Harrisburg Regional Chamber.
The Academy of Medical Arts and Business is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology
