Certified Careers Institute opened its first campus in July 1983 in Salt Lake City. A degree program was added in 1985 and that same year CCI was approved for training Veterans. CCI was accredited in June 1988 by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT)www.accsct.org. To keep up with the continuing growth in the IT industry, CCI opened an Ogden Campus in October 1988. Increasing demands and a growing student population made it necessary for both campuses to relocate to their current facilities in Salt Lake City and Clearfield. CCI's Salt Lake City campus has been accredited since June 1988 and the Clearfield campus followed closely behind in June 1990.
In October 2002 CCI will launch two new Medical Programs - Medical Assisting and Medical Office Specialist. CCI's sister schools, Navada Career Institute and Glendale Career College have been extreemly succesful in training their students for rewarding medical careers. CCI is excited to offer these quality programs.
