On-Campus Schools Join Online Trend
Many on-campus schools, some of which already offer courses online, are beginning to offer full degree programs online. Whether they are cashing in on the increasing popularity of online degrees or simply need to keep up with the times, the advantage belongs to students, for the increased flexibility and independence online college classes affords them.
The feedback at on-campus schools is that students want more online courses. Most want a balance between the on-campus experience and the independence of an online degree program.
But while on-campus schools are developing their online degree programs, there are many online schools that are already established and offer many online degrees. Degrees
from online schools include certificates, diplomas, Associate's degrees, Bachelor's degrees, and even Master's degrees.
Online Education in Technical Trades
Online schools don't merely focus on the arts and sciences, either. Online education is available in technical fields too, such as HVAC and electrical engineering trades. Online education can be very beneficial to these types of job holders, as constant education and training are required. Online courses can be taken one at a time or through a degree program.
The federal government has even done its part to support online education. More and more loan programs are becoming available to students as time goes on. Online students now have access to the near $40 billion in federal aid the government awards each year. There's never been a better time to earn an online education.
