With an online degree in graphic design, graduates can look forward to any number of job titles, from Senior Designer to Art Director. Online training can be done faster and at a smaller cost, allowing you to start building your career in graphic design sooner.

Here are five great reasons to pursue an online degree in graphic design and work in the industry:
  1. An online degree program will cost you less money, not to mention time, in the long run. Online degrees cost approximately half as much as on-campus degree programs, and some can be completed in just 18 months.
  2. Graphic designers are predicted by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics to have the most new job opportunities by 2014. If you learn web design or animation in your online degree program, you'll have even more career prospects.
  3. There is a variety of employment options after online training in graphic design. The marketing and advertising departments of every company need graphic design. Science, medical, and other educational publishers are other great places to put your online degree in graphic design to work.
  4. You can work for yourself. Around 3 out of every 10 graphic designers are independent. With online training in graphic and web design, you can create a website, create some online marketing, and go into business.
  5. After an online degree program in graphic design, you may be able to earn a salary of $50,000 - $60,000 in your first year, depending on the employer. Not bad for online training that often costs less and can be done faster than an on-campus degree!
