Brown College designed its Associate of Applied Science Degree in Television Production program to prepare students for entry-level positions as production specialists in broadcast television, industrial video, cable, and satellite. Students are trained in all positions behind the camera and receive substantial hands-on experience in multi-camera studios and on location. We also focus on the concepts of both linear and non-linear editing.
Students can choose an internship or practicum project in order to complete the requirements of the curriculum. The program’s General Education component contributes to the shaping of a well-informed broadcast professional and helps students develop the problem-solving and human relations skills sought by today’s employers.
