Paralegal- Paralegals work in a number of settings including private law firms, corporation, and the government. They are qualified to perform a great amount of legal work often performed by attorneys. Therefore, individuals in the profession must possess an acute knowledge of legal concepts, including legal ethics, to gain credibility with clients and other practitioners. This program provides students with comprehensive instruction in areas such as civil litigation, trust and probate, real estate law, commercial law and business organization law, as well as in computer technologies, which increasingly play a role in the legal field. Legal research, analysis, and writing will be emphasized along with mastering human relations skills for client contact.
